A few words....

As the holiday season quickly approaches my "to do" list keeps growing!

My business has picked up to a pace where on the outside seems to be doing me some good, but on the inside I am going crazy! I am finding it very difficult to keep a space between my personal and work life. Being a wife and mommy is hard, but being a BUSINESS owner as well makes it extremely difficult to balance those those things without losing control.

It has got to the point where something needs to give, so I'm going to be sloooowing it down for the time being. There are some family issues I am dealing with, some very ill family members, and I feel it's time to take it easy and focus on my family. I will still be booking sessions, but weddings are going to be VERY limited. I don't need to tell you how much hard work weddings really are for a photographer :) But, as you can imagine, they are a LOT harder with 2 very needy little boys. I don't want to give up weddings all together, but I don't want to feel like I am abandoning them either.

I have a total of 3 hours everyday to work. And that is just not enough. If only I could add more hours in the day, I'd be set :) So, my priorities are not where they should be and I have to fix that.

So, this is where I am. I am at a turning point. I will not be booking anymore sessions until after the first of the year. This winter I will be focusing my time with my family and maybe even work on my fine art photography a little more. I hope everyone understands. I LOVE my clients more than anything and I APPRECIATE all of the love and support, but being where I am at now I just have to take it easy.

Editing process is still a little slow for me. All of my portrait session clients expect a 2-3 week period and my weddings expect an 8 week period. I appreciate your patience as I work hard to get photos out to everyone :) So, please don't worry...you will get your pictures!

So, I think that's it for right now! I just wanted to share with everyone what's up :) Thank you for all of the wonderful business and the love.

And with that said...I just wanted to share a few pics from my trip to India! I will blog more when I have the time ;)
